AAA Resume & Writing Service: FAQ

Spider FAQ
  • Job Search
  • 1. How do I find available jobs?

Most employers announce their vacant jobs via the Internet. We provide you with a long list of "job board" websites where you can search for jobs by location, keyword, etc. You can also post your resume to many of these boards and allow potential employers the opportunity to find you.
  • 2. How can I improve my chances of getting an interview?

At AAA Resume & Writing Service, we gear your resume toward getting your foot in the door. Your resume will be filled with keywords ... the more keywords in your resumes, the better your chances are of being called for an interview.
  • 3. My work history is not stable. Can you help me?

It is true that employers generally seek employees who have a record of loyalty. However, if you've been doing the same type of work just at different companies, there are some things we can do to help improve a potential employer's perception of your work history. Ask us about this at your free initial consultation appointment.
  • Career Direction
  • 1. I want to change careers. Can you help me?

Yes. Many people change careers. It's surprising how skills in one field may be transferred and applicable in another field. We will focus your resume with the new career direction in mind, highlighting skills, training and education previously obtained that may be useful in your new field.
  • 2. What types of resumes do you write?

We specialize in military conversion resumes, but we have experience in all types of resumes, including curriclum vitae as well as corporate excutives. Whatever your career direction, we can help.
  • Social Media
  • 1. Does social media affect my job search?

Absolutely it can. Google your name and see what you find. Many employers check social outlets, especially Facebook and LinkedIn, before hiring a candidate. If possible, buy a domain name that represents your name, such as www.johnedoe.com. Do what you can to make certain the employer finds the right "you" online, and not just someone who has the same name and perhaps not such a great reputation. Make certain your online presence is good.
  • 2. Can social media help me find a job?

Absolutely. Websites such as LinkedIn are all about professional networking. Many jobs are never announced on job boards and can be stumbled upon via social media outlets, friends, and other professional associates. Use social media to enhance your job search efforts.
